A Parmesan with a sympathetic history and an unrivalled quality
With his company G. Cravero, Giorgio Cravero produces a Parmesan that the world should not be deprived of. That is why Güntensperger has now taken over the exclusive distribution of it in Switzerland with more than a little pride. Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano have been maturing for generations in the cellars of the G. Cravero family business to produce high-quality Parmesan. They have a finesse that other Parmesans can hardly match. It is a cheese that can be used without hesitation in the best cuisine and can be found in the most exquisite shops.
We like the Cravero family as much as we like the quality of their craftsmanship. For over 160 years, they have lived and produced for generations in Bra, a beautiful town in the north of Italy. Giorgio Cravero plans to hand over his business to his son Giacomo in the future, just as he took it over from his father Giacomo. He in turn took over the craft from his father Giorgio and the craft from HIS father Giacomo. Names have as much tradition in the family as the passing on of unbeaten tried and tested recipes.
